The NBA represents over 67,000 Lawyers, Judges, Law Professors, and law students and is the nation’s oldest and largest global network of predominately Black American attorneys and judges. Many of their members are historically known for their contributions to the furthering of civil rights justice and change throughout the United States. The association will be a century old this year, and they hold an annual convention with a mix of networking, learning, and social experiences for their members to enjoy. The event lasts a week with a plethora of elections, workshops, awards ceremonies, concerts, and dining experiences. We captured long form and short form content for their website and social media showcasing this experience when it was hosted in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Venue highlights included Prince’s very own Paisley Park with special guest DJ Spinderella on stage, and The Fillmore Minneapolis with performances by Keke Wyatt and DJ Skillz. Attourney Ben Crump kicked off the event with an introduction of the NBA president.
